      Sexual Assault Counselor and Groups Coordinator
    • Develop and coordinate support groups for a variety of sexual violence survivor populations (adult survivors of child sexual abuse, adolescent sexual assault survivors, male survivors, etc.). Provide individual counseling to sexual trauma survivors using evidenced-based therapy models, such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, and TF-CBT. Seeking a candidate with significant experience in the field of violence against women, with developing programs and curricula, and working with youth and young adults. Qualifications: Masters Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field; a license to practice mental health, or ability to obtain one within three months of employment (provisional license is okay).           Bilingual Advocate
        • Provide crisis intervention, advocacy, education and support to both English-speaking and Spanish-speaking victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Office hours are primarily 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday, with flex-time to allow for evening support groups. Prefer BSW or human services degree. Extensive experience and training may substitute for degree. Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish is required. Full-time position located in Pittsboro.
