Second Bloom Thrift BoutiqueSecond Bloom, a thrift boutique store owned and operated by FVRC, is located in downtown Pittsboro (about 15 minutes southwest of Chapel Hill). All store proceeds assist more than 800 women and children fleeing from domestic violence and sexual assault who use FVRC’s services every year. Last year proceeds from donations, events and Second Bloom accounted for 18% of our funding, with Second Bloom netting nearly $30,000. With your help we can reach this year’s goal of $40,000.
Our thrift boutique is not just a great place to shop. The store is a unique outreach opportunity. People in the community can pick up information about FVRC’s services without having to come to one of our offices. This provides an additional level of anonymity we are happy to be able to offer.
