Smart Start

  • Support services to children ages 0-5 who have been exposed to domestic violence, including our shelter counselor and our home-based parent-child counseling services.

DELTA (through the NC Coalition Against Domestic Violence)

  • Supports the efforts of the Coalition for Family Peace to promote domestic violence prevention.
  • Sexual Assault Services Program (through the NC Coalition Against Sexual Assault)
  • Supports our 24-hour crisis line.

Chatham County Schools

  • Supports our school-based efforts to prevent domestic and sexual violence.

NC Council for Women/Domestic Violence Commission

  • Provides state grants to support domestic violence services, sexual assault services and displaced homemaker services.

Office on Violence Against Women (Legal Assistance to Victims Grant Program)

  • Supports legal representation for victims.

Office on Violence Against Women (Rural Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault and Stalking Assistance Program)

  • Supports our Siler City Office including our outreach to the Latino Community. Also supports the development of a Sexual Assault Team.

Governor’s Crime Commission

  • Victim of Crime Act funds support victim services, including advocacy, 24-hour crisis. Recovery Act funding supports counseling and services.

Arrest Grant

  • We are part of a collaboration with our three law enforcement agencies to increase the effectiveness of our justice system response.

North Carolina Division of Public Health

  • Rape Prevention Education supports sexual assault prevention programming, including our school program and MOST Clubs. Rape Crisis Services supports crisis services and advocacy for victims of sexual assault.
