Crisis Line/Victim Advocate
Respond to incoming crisis line calls
Provide general support and information
Occasionally accompany victims to hospital or sheriff’s office
Assist staff with the daily operations of the shelter
Available to offer general support and/or transportation to shelter residents
Provide childcare while mothers/fathers attend support groups
Answer telephones and direct calls
Assist in office tasks i.e. Putting together binders, organizing files, copying, printing, etc.
Special events – Help with planning, promoting and setup at special events, work information booths and distribute flyers at local events i.e. Street Fairs & 1st Sunday, assist in researching fundraising opportunities and promoting them, help with awareness months, outreach in the community
Yard work, maintenance, cleaning office, making repairs as qualified
