The Pittsboro Needle Crafters raffled off their beautiful “Crazy Quilt” on Sunday of the Pittsboro Christmas Parade after selling nearly $2,250 worth of tickets. All proceeds were donated to Family Violence & Rape Crisis Services. The ladies of the quilting group spent three months selling tickets around Chatham County at art walks, First Sundays and local events. Second Bloom manager, Nan Baldauf, pulled the winning ticket with eyes closed at 3 p.m. Congratulations to Alexis Pojafsky on the win!
Many thanks to the Pittsboro Needle Crafters for their contributions of time and talent to such a great cause. Your fundraising efforts were a great success. Way to go, ladies!
