“A powerful portrayal of love, sorrow, forgiveness, joy and the redeeming qualities of family.  The beauty of this film stirs our hearts to engage in an open discourse on punishment especially the ultimate punishment – execution.” Maureen Fenion, O.P., National Coordinator Dead Man Walking School Theatre Project

LOVE LIVED ON DEATH ROW (documentary/84 minutes) produced and directed by Linda Booker See the Trailer: http://www.vimeo.com/8060835

A powerful documentary film chronicling the remarkable story of the Syriani sibling’s journey from hate and anger to love and forgiveness for their father who murdered their mother in 1990. After 14 years of estrangement, their miraculous reconciliation led them to a public campaign to save him from execution on North Carolina’s death row. Their story received international attention leading to appearances on Good Morning America and the Larry King Show. Woven into the story is a woman inspired by Sister Helen Prejean, who became their father’s friend through letters and visits to death row. See the official Love Lived on Death Row website: http://www.lovelivedondeathrow.com
